Acne Ultra Clear | Ad

Hey guys! So I recently got the chance to trail the new Acne Ultra Clear cream to help with skincare. As with any products that is used for skincare I always take precaution, simply because of how sensitive my skin is. I have very sensitive, acne prone yet combination skin can cause me to have very oily outbreaks in my t-zones, but then sometimes I can dry out on and around my nose. However, after doing a bit of research before hand to help ensure this product could suit my skin I discovered its a natural product that's fragrance-free!

About the product and my thoughts then? When I received it I loved the packaging, it was very informative throughout the box and the container itself, I love the colors they suit so well to my desk and room theme. Which blogger wouldn't love a white styled product huh! Plus I love the fact this product is not used with a pump, those which use a pump (e.g Clinique Moisturizer you always get waste product you can never reach or use), but with this you can use the very last inch.

As with many "acne" products to help reduce and calm your skin I notice they dry out the areas, sometimes have a very odd smell (usually a t-tree scent). I must admit I was taken back a little when I saw the color of this product, I expected a clear or white type of substance. The product is very beige type (hard to explain), I was slightly worried that when I apply it might discolor my skin and being very porcelain I was worried it might make my face look odd to the rest of my body! BUT NOT TO WORRY, After applying a small amount across my whole face it felt smooth, silky and very calming almost like I was wearing a face mask. It didn't change the color of my skin at all (to make me look odd etc), and it didn't irritate my skin.

After spending a week trailing the product, I never felt too dry, or too oily. I never had any further break outs ("spots") which is an added bonus, I also noticed when using this product it helped to reduce redness instantly! I can honestly say I would be satisfied to wear this out in summer if my acne cleared up, it works so great a natural glow!
As I've only been trailing this for a week I haven't noticed any dramatic decrease with my acne, but I haven't broke out and I honestly think it's slowly starting to work and this is a natural healthy product to use on my skin after a fresh face which I love!

How do I use? - Repeat twice a day (Morning and evening)
Step 1: Clean my skin / Remove Makeup

I wash my skin using my Clinique sonic system and cleansing gel with warm water, and then pat dry with a clean cloth! If I have makeup on I usually just use a sensitive face wipe to remove.
Step 2: Use a toner
I always love to use a toner after cleansing, I feel it's an extra little bonus to my skin and smooths it out a lot better preventing dry outs! (I currently use an Elemis one)
Step 3: Acne Ultra Clear
Using this product as a moisturizer I apply straight after my toner and leave to dry in!

Overall? I do love this product, I want to carry on using this for a few weeks and see if it does improve my overall acne issue. But I haven't struggled with drying out patches, or too much oil on my face it seems to suit really well! I would for sure conciser re-buying this product after using it, one because it has helped with redness but because it is affordable compared to other moisturizers out on the market!
